Join us for the 2022 UCSF Health Equity Symposium. This year's event will be hosted by Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, PhD, MD, MAS, inaugural vice dean for population health and health equity at UCSF, and will examine new developments in community-outreach and care-delivery models addressing pre- and post-pandemic health disparities. You’ll also hear directly from other UCSF experts and health care practitioners about the first human trial using a genome-editing
technique to correct the gene defect that causes sickle cell disease, the remarkable COVID-19 rapid-response efforts from UCSF and the San Francisco Latino Task Force during the height of the pandemic, a new center coordinating health-disparities research across multiple chronic disease fields, new initiatives to improve access to care for the homeless, and much more.
